The Role

FIFO & Full time permanent positions available and you can start on a casual FIFO basis (4 weeks on and 10 days off) for the first few months, if not already resident at Gladstone; generous relocation assistance available. You’ll have relevant experience ideally in the mining/oil & gas/petrochemical industry with particular emphasis on In-Service Inspections and associated requirements and have a minimum of UT, MT & PT Level 2 plus IRATA level 2; Phased Array experience will be an advantage.

You will…

Conduct Non Destructive Testing and Inspection, with a strong emphasis on Rope Access Liaise with clients in regard to the inspection and reporting where required Ensure that equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times and calibrated where required Compile written reports Perform inspection work as required.

The Person

We are looking for NDT Technicians who either live in Gladstone already or are happy to relocate. You’ll need recent experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Power Stations and other Heavy industries and an ability to combine careful planning, problem-solving and diagnosis with a hands-on approach.

We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes: Experience and AINDT Level 2/PCN or CSWIP qualifications in NDT examination techniques, including ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle and dye penetrant examinations plus IRATA Level 2. A team player but also capable of working independently Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Suite Very good problem-solving skills A desire to learn new skills and keep up to date with technical changes Excellent written & verbal communication skills Client management/relationship building skills Safety conscious with a commitment to OH&S.
