The Role
A position is now available for a Business Development Specialist, based in Sydney about 25kms NW of the CBD, with hands on NDT Technical experience, in addition to product manager/sales experience. A high level of domestic and international travel is required so you need to be comfortable with that requirement.
Key Responsibility
You will responsible for managing and developing our clients’ NDT consumables portfolio (in particular penetrants and magnetic particle consumables). You will be directly responsible for the sales of these products in Australia and New Zealand. In addition you will be responsible for the growth of the product range and growth of sales internationally through distributors with the main international markets being Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
The role will require you to have had a mix of NDT technical experience combined with Account Management/BDM experience.
You need to be comfortable researching new business opportunities, making cold calls developing strategies, qualifying and pitching to clients and working by yourself in different cultural settings.

Skills and Experience
You will have the following background: Technical background in both NDT and welding. AINDT Level 2 or PCN or CSWIP qualifications in NDT examination techniques, particularly magnetic particle and dye penetrant examinations. You will have spent your initial career in your technical area of expertise and will have now progressed into a Sales/BDM/Account Management role Strong experience in either strategic client account management and/or business development Mining/Resources and Aviation Industry experience Well developed presentation skills Sound research and analysis skills and a willingness to explore business opportunities Sound report writing skills.
