What is NDT
Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is a broad multidisciplinary field of science and engineering. NDT plays a critical role in many industries, ensuring that components are free from defects that could compromise the safe working life of systems, structures and machinery.
NDT inspections locate and characterize discontinuities within material in such a manner that does not adversely affect the future usefulness of the component. Because it allows inspection without interfering with a product's final use, NDT provides an excellent balance between quality control and cost-effectiveness.
